In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn practical techniques to turn conflicts into opportunities for growth and collaboration. Explore the root causes of disputes, develop active listening and communication skills, and discover strategies for resolving disagreements in personal and professional settings. Through real-world scenarios and hands-on activities, you’ll build the confidence to approach conflict with empathy, clarity, and effectiveness. Whether you're managing teams, navigating family dynamics, or seeking personal development, this workshop equips you with tools to create positive outcomes and lasting connections.

Coffee and Networking: 8:30-9:00 a.m.
Conflict Resolution Session: 9:00-10:30 a.m.
Peer Led Panels & Tables: 10:30-12:00 p.m.

Amanda Stevenson-Holmes
Department Chair and Instructor of Strategic Communications
Butler University

Amanda Stevenson-Holmes is a Lecturer and Department Chair of Strategic Communications at Butler University, a popular facilitator for LJC Select and To Your Door workshops, and graduate of the Signature Program (Class of 2019). She has more than 20 years of marketing communications experience and “pays it forward,” sharing her knowledge and real-life scenarios with students. She earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Franklin College and a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University.
