Why are education foundations important?

"Our foundation consists of a large number of dedicated volunteers who work to raise funds for scholarships for deserving students. The funds raised also go to give small grants to teachers to try new or innovative programs with their students. In both instances, students benefit greatly. What the foundation provides is not simply something more...the scholarships and grants impact lives forever."

- Dr. Mark Keen, Superintendent of Westfield Washington Schools
